Baseball Recap: Greenbrier East Takes a Loss

Greenbrier East lost against Sissonville two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans came up short against the Indians, falling 11-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Spartans have suffered since April 15th.

Graham Brewster made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Greenbrier East has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-12 record this season. As for Sissonville, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-7.

As of now, neither Greenbrier East nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
