Baseball Preview: Loara Saxons vs. Magnolia Sentinels        
        
		
            The Loara Saxons will square off against the Magnolia Sentinels at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Loara will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
Loara's pitching crew heads into the  match  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. Everything went their way against Western as they made off with  a  15-0 win. The Saxons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six  runs or more this season.
Meanwhile, Magnolia made easy work of Santa Ana Valley  on Friday and carried off  a  17-5 victory. The Sentinels haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  win against them.
 Gabe Segura made a big impact no matter where he played. He  struck out eight batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits. Segura was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-5 with four  stolen bases, four  runs,  and two  doubles. He has become a key player for Magnolia: the team is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 5-8 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  Jacob Moniz was a standout: he went a perfect 5-for-5 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jonathan Hernandez, who  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with two  stolen bases, four  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Magnolia  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .717. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
 Loara pushed their record up to 13-2 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.2 runs on average over those games. As for Magnolia, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
