Owen Leever turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Wednesday. He struck out seven batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits (and only one walk). He has become a key player for King: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 2-10 otherwise.
