Baseball Recap: Sayre Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Sayre's offense. They came up short against the Millville Quakers on Saturday, falling 15-0. The Redskins just can't catch a break and have now endured nine losses in a row dating back to last season.

Sayre's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Millville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sayre will take on Loyalsock Township at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Sayre is facing Loyalsock Township at the right time seeing as Loyalsock Township is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Millville, they will square off against Sullivan County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
