Basketball Recap: Northwest Starts off Right with Win over Madison + How To Watch

Northwest had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Madison Trojans by a score of 65-53. For the Mounties, this counts as revenge for the 62-32 win the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Northwest's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jarrett Osterberg, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Anspaugh, who put up ten points and five boards.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest will welcome DeWitt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Adrian at 7:00 p.m.
