Volleyball Recap: Delta Wins Going Away Against Wes-Del

Delta won the last time they faced Wes-Del and things went their way on Monday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Delta was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-7, 25-8.

Among those leading the charge was Sienna Richards, who had eight digs and two aces. What's more, she posted two assists, the most she's had over her last four contests.

Richards wasn't the only good servers: Delta was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. The Eagles are 7-3 when they serve at least ten aces.

Delta now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Wes-Del, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season.

Delta and Wes-Del are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Eagles will take on New Castle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wes-Del, they will face off against Southern Wells at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
