Volleyball Recap: Pleasant Grove Beats Springville for Their Fourth Straight Win

Pleasant Grove came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Springville Red Devils with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pleasant Grove took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-9.

Among those leading the charge was Kaitlin Stadler, who had seven digs and two aces.

Stadler wasn't the only good servers: Pleasant Grove was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. The Vikings are 9-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Pleasant Grove's record is now 12-9. As for Springville, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Looking ahead, Pleasant Grove will square off against Maple Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Springville, they will take on Spanish Fork at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Dons have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
