Volleyball Recap: Hershey Victorious

Hershey's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They skirted past the High Plains Storm 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since August 28th.

Demi Damoude paced Hershey's offense, picking up nine kills. Damoude also shared the team's lead in assists with Kenna Bringewatt: they picked up 13 each. Finally, Ryleigh Melvin kept Hershey's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Hershey's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for High Plains, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Hershey has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against West Holt on the 20th. As for High Plains, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Ord on the 20th.
