Volleyball Recap: Rivermont Collegiate Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Saturday. Rivermont Collegiate fell 2-0 to Galesburg Christian.

Rivermont Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Galesburg Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rivermont Collegiate will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Unity Christian at 5:30 p.m. on October 14. As for Galesburg Christian, they will host Pathway Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
