Softball Recap: D'hanis' Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

D'Hanis got themselves on the board against Knippa on Saturday, but Knippa never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Crushers with a sharp 15-0 win. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Cowboys this season.

Kami Johnson was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Joanie Wilson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

D'Hanis was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .579. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.

D'Hanis' victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-9. As for Knippa, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Coincidentally, D'Hanis and Knippa will both be playing Leakey the next time they take the field. The Cowboys will host the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Crushers will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
