Volleyball Recap: Trumbull Beats Darien for Their Third Straight Victory

Trumbull hadn't done well against Darien recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Blue Wave with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Trumbull was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-11.

Trumbull's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Darien, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Trumbull is set to square off against their familiar foe Greenwich at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Darien will take on rival Bridgeport Central at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
