Baseball Recap: Southeastern RVT Comes Up Short

Southeastern RVT had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 2-5 to make it seven. They came up short against the Bristol-Plymouth RVT Craftsmen, falling 15-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hawks have suffered against the Craftsmen since May 21, 2022.

As for Bristol-Plymouth RVT, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2. That 14 run margin sets a new team best for them this season.

For Bristol-Plymouth RVT's part, Kyle Weldon was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Joe Benevides, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southeastern RVT will challenge Blue Hills RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bristol-Plymouth RVT, they will take on Diman RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
