Volleyball Recap: Purchase Line's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Purchase Line waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the River Valley Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Purchase Line took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-12, 25-14.

Rylee Mahaffey paced Purchase Line's offense, picking up 11 kills. Mahaffey got some help from Bella Cessna and her 25 assists. Cessna was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Purchase Line's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for River Valley, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Purchase Line will challenge rival West Shamokin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, River Valley is set to face off against their familiar foe Penns Manor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
