Softball Game Preview: Locke Saints vs. Fremont Pathfinders

Locke hasn't had much luck against Fremont recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Saints will challenge the Pathfinders at 2:30 p.m. Locke has given up an average of 14.8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Locke is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They fell 19-14 to Dorsey. On the bright side, the 14- run performance marked the Saints' highest-scoring contest to date.

Meanwhile, Fremont lost 15-4 to Harbor Teacher on Monday. The Pathfinders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Locke, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Locke might still be hurting after the 19-4 loss they got from Fremont in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Saints avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
