Basketball Game Preview: Shawnee Wolves vs. Claremore Zebras

The Shawnee Wolves will face off against the Claremore Zebras at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Claremore is facing Shawnee at the wrong time: Shawnee suffered their first home loss of the season on Tuesday and they're likely out for redemption. They took a 66-48 bruising from the Hornets. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Hornets are ranked 47th).

Meanwhile, Claremore ended up a good deal behind Collinsville on Tuesday and lost 58-43. The Zebras have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Claremore's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Shawnee, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4.
