While St. Mary's victory against Stuart wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The St. Mary's Cardinals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Stuart Broncos on Thursday, sneaking past 43-41. The Cardinals are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Mary's to victory, but perhaps none more so than Pyper Ickes, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 13 points and seven assists. Another player making a difference was Gracie Williamson, who went 6 of 15 en route to 12 points and eight rebounds.

St. Mary's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-1. As for Stuart, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-5.

St. Mary's will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Boyd County at 6:15 p.m. on February 11th. Stuart has already played their next contest (against North Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
