St. Pius X entered their tilt with Grants on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Pirates 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Sartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: St. Pius X took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-7, 25-11.

St. Pius X's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Grants, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
