Football Game Preview: Enterprise Wildcats vs. Carver Montgomery Wolverines + How To Watch

Enterprise is a perfect 3-0 against Carver Montgomery since August of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. Enterprise has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with three straight defeats, while Carver Montgomery will come in with four straight victories.

Enterprise is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Central, who was ranked third at the time (Enterprise was ranked 20th). The Wildcats were beaten by the Red Devils 53-24 last Friday. The Wildcats were down 46-17 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carver Montgomery). Everything went their way against Dothan last Friday as they made off with a 50-28 win. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won four matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.

Enterprise better keep an eye on Zion Crumpton. He was instrumental in Carver Montgomery's win, rushing for 121 yards on only six carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 65 yards. They also got a significant boost from Elijah Tarver, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 92 yards.

Carver Montgomery was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 216 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Carver Montgomery's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Enterprise, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Friday's contest might be decided in the trenches. Enterprise has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 157.2 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Carver Montgomery, though, as they've been averaging only 83.8 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?

Enterprise came out on top in a nail-biter against Carver Montgomery when the teams last played back in October of 2024, sneaking past 17-14. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolverines turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
