Basketball Recap: Durand's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Forreston came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Durand, but Aurora Hilton wouldn't allow it. The Durand Bulldogs were the clear victor by a 41-20 margin over the Forreston Cardinals on Friday thanks in part to Hilton, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Durand's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14. As for Forreston, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Durand and Pearl City will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forreston, they will host Hiawatha at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Forreston is facing Hiawatha at the right time seeing as Hiawatha is stuck on a 20-game losing streak.
