Volleyball Recap: Portola Takes a Loss

Portola suffered their biggest loss since September 4th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Quincy Trojans. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-7, 25-14.

Portola's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Quincy, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Portola will challenge rival Maxwell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Quincy is set to face off against their familiar foe Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
