Baseball Recap: Moore Comes Up Short

Moore fell victim to North Bullitt and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 11-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Mustangs were not able to get on the board.

Moore's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for North Bullitt, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moore will take on Southern at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for North Bullitt, they will square off against Christian Academy-Louisville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Centurions have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
