Basketball Recap: Tyler Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Tyler won the last time they faced Magnolia, and Jules Lattea did her part to make sure it happened again. The Tyler Knights blew past the Magnolia Blue Eagles 54-31 on Monday thanks in part to Lattea, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 19 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 14 or more in the last three games she's played.

Tyler's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9. As for Magnolia, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Tyler won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Doddridge County at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Doddridge County will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Tyler surely won't give up without a fight. As for Magnolia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tyler at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
