Oxford Academy waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Glenn Eagles 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Oxford Academy took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11, 25-8.

Oxford Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Glenn, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Oxford Academy will head out to take on Whitney at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glenn, they will host Cerritos at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
