Football Game Preview: Deerfield-Windsor Knights vs. Maclay Marauders + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Lane Sceals and Beau Beshears are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Deerfield-Windsor Knights will host the Maclay Marauders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Deerfield-Windsor will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

If Deerfield-Windsor beats Maclay with 21 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Knights won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Valwood 21-20.

It was another big night for Gabe Daniel, who picked up 185 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 109 receiving yards per game.

Meanwhile, Maclay hadn't done well against North Florida Christian recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Marauders blew past the Eagles 43-20. The result was nothing new for the Marauders, who have now won five games by 23 points or more so far this season.

Maclay's win came from a few key players Deerfield-Windsor will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Anthony White, who rushed for 117 yards and one score on only 15 carries. Tucker Poppell was another key player, picking up 168 receiving yards.

Maclay didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ford Brown and Blake Brannen.

Maclay's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Deerfield-Windsor, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.
