Volleyball Recap: North Union Victorious

North Union won the last time they faced Fredericktown and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 win over the Freddies.

The victory didn't come easy: Fredericktown scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 21-25, 28-26.

Katelyn Zimmerman paced North Union's offense, picking up 16 kills. Zimmerman got some help from Kennedy Harrah and her 33 assists. Emmy Eastman controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

The win got North Union back to even at 2-2. As for Fredericktown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, North Union will be playing in front of their home fans against Graham Local at 6:30 p.m. on September 2. As for Fredericktown, they will challenge Northmor at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
