Basketball Recap: Mat Pachorek Key Part of Team Effort in Bulldogs Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Primero walked away with it. They walked away with a 42-32 win over the Cheraw Wolverines on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Primero to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mat Pachorek, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds. Pachorek is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 56% in the last four games he's played. Brett Kendall was another key player, putting up ten points and five steals.

Primero's victory bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Cheraw, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-10.

Coming up, Primero will square off against Stratton on Thursday. Stratton will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something Primero surely won't give up without a fight. Cheraw does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
