Soccer Game Preview: Resurrection vs. Glenbard South

The Resurrection Bandits will venture away from home to square off against the Glenbard South Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Saturday, Resurrection came up short against Niles North and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for Resurrection in their meetings with Niles North: they've now lost seven in a row.

Resurrection's goal came courtesy of Giovanna Lee, who's now up to 15 this season.

Meanwhile, Glenbard South fell victim to South Elgin and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 7-0 to the Storm. Glenbard South have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Resurrection's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-3. As for Glenbard South, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1-1 and their overall record down to 9-5-6.

Resurrection suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Glenbard South when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Bandits avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
