Opp has gone a perfect 10-0 against Pike County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bobcats will head out on the road to face off against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Opp will be strutting in after a victory while Pike County will be coming in after a loss.

Opp is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on New Brockton with a sharp 18-0 win on Tuesday. Considering the Bobcats have won 12 games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Pike County fell victim to Straughn and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Opp has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Pike County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Opp took their win against Pike County when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
