Shoemaker's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Pflugerville Panthers a 10-0 shutout. With that win, the Wolves brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Joephillip Guzman was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season. Marc Stephens was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

The victory got Shoemaker back to even at 3-3. As for Pflugerville, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-1.

Coincidentally, Shoemaker and Pflugerville will both be playing Leander the next time they take the field. Pflugerville will head out to face Leander at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Shoemaker will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
