Basketball Recap: South Pontotoc Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

South Pontotoc won the last time they faced Senatobia and things went their way on Tuesday too. The South Pontotoc Cougars walked away with a 55-44 win over the Senatobia Warriors.

South Pontotoc is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points per game. As for Senatobia, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Pontotoc will face off against New Albany at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Senatobia, they will venture away from home to face off against Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
