Mayfield waltzed into their contest on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 48-41 win over the North Rangers. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Rangers back in January, they had to take a 48-44 defeat.

Despite the loss, North still got an impressive performance from Kaitlin Dobida, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds. Dobida's afternoon made it nine games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Mir Ashley was another key player, putting up eight points.

Mayfield pushed their record up to 14-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for North, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Mayfield will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on February 19th. As for North, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 41-27 win against West Geauga on the 12th.
