Baseball Recap: Beacon Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Beacon entered their tilt with Liberty on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Indians a 10-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-0 on Tuesday.

Beacon's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Liberty, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Coincidentally, Beacon and Liberty will both be playing Port Jervis the next time they take the field. The Indians will head out to face the Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
