Basketball Recap: Aliquippa Beats Freedom Area for Their Third Straight Win

Aliquippa won the last time they faced Freedom Area and things went their way on Friday too. The Quips put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 59-36 win. With the Quips ahead 34-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Freedom Area's loss came despite strong showings from Chase Andrews and Gionni Short. Andrews shot 45% from the field to rack up 19 points and eight rebounds, while Short posted four points and nine boards.
