Alamosa found their leader in underclassman Aubrey Rothermich, who scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Laci Christensen, who scored 9 points along with 5 assists and 4 steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Frontier Academy struggled to work together and finished the game with only a assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Alamosa racked up 19.
Alamosa's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Frontier Academy, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Alamosa will square off against St. Mary's at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (St. Mary's is ranked 38th, while Alamosa is ranked 43rd). As for Frontier Academy, they will face off against Middle Park at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Middle Park focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Thursday.
