Appomattox County put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Chatham Cavaliers as they made off with a 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Nobody will forget Chloe Vaughan's heroic performance anytime soon (especially Chatham's batters): she turned in a perfect game. Vaughan has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Karly Jenkins was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Paisley Mann, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
