Findlay Prep survives unexpected close call to remain No. 1.

The Pilots survived a close call Saturday at the Las Vegas Hoop Fest against Desert Pines (Las Vegas). Findlay Prep trailed by two at the half and rallied behind 20 points from MaxPreps National Player of the Year candidate

2. (3) Prime Prep (Dallas), 23-0"The Truth" – yes, that is apparently Prime Prep's nickname – beat a team called Methodist Children's Home (Waco) 99-30 last week. That doesn't sound like a fair fight.
3. (2) St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, N.J.), 20-1It was an eventful week to say the least for the Gray Bees. They were stunned Wednesday by Blair Academy (Blairstown) but rebounded with a 47-38 win over St. Anthony (Jersey City) to snap the Friars' 83-game win streak. The next night St. Benedict's crushed a quality Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, Va.) team by 20.
4. (4) Montverde Academy (Fla.), 22-2The Eagles won't play again until March 3 against No. 6 Huntington Prep at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Ky.
5. (5) La Lumiere (LaPorte, Ind.), 23-2The Lakers have an interesting matchup Feb. 16 against Indianapolis Cathedral. La Lumiere's schedule on its official site also indicates it will play in the prestigious Alhambra Catholic Invitational March 14-16 in Cumberland, Md.
6. (6) Huntington Prep (W.Va.), 24-2The Express swept Oldsmar Christian (Fla.) and Macdonald Academy (Red Springs, N.C.) over the weekend at the Tri-State Classic.
7. (8) Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, Kan.), 25-0SCA topped the century mark for the third time this season in a 107-62 win over NOAH HomeSchool (Tulsa, Okla.).
8. (10) Arlington Country Day (Jacksonville, Fla.), 21-2ACD notched an impressive victory Saturday night over previously unbeaten Providence (Jacksonville).
9. (9) Greensboro Day (N.C.), 31-1The Bengals were dropped at home by Christ School (Arden) on Friday night but are still the team to beat in the NCISAA for now.
10. (7) Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.), 23-4The Warriors remain in the Academy Top 10 despite a loss to Montrose Christian (Rockville, Md.) in triple overtime over the weekend. OHA beat Montrose (12-4) by nearly 20 December at the 'Iolani Classic and holds a slight edge in the quality wins department.
