Delaware Valley and East Stroudsburg South are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Warriors will host the Cavaliers at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Delaware Valley is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Delaware Valley's offense. They lost 10-0 to Abington Heights on Wednesday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

The Cavaliers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Bears a 10-0 shutout. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cavaliers.

East Stroudsburg South got a great performance from Liam Huffman as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Huffman has posted since back in March.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aaron Kasperski, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Logan Rasmussen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

East Stroudsburg South always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pleasant Valley only posted an OBP of .263.

East Stroudsburg South's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Delaware Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Delaware Valley beat East Stroudsburg South 8-5 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Cavaliers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
