On Saturday George Upah tossed four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. The performance marked the fewest earned runs Upah has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than one walk. For the season, he has an ERA of 20.25 over 9.3 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Upah and Omaha Northwest will head out to challenge Creighton Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies have been struggling on the road and they will enter the matchup having lost ten straight away games dating back to last season.
