Culpeper County won the last time they faced Albemarle and things went their way on Friday too. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 14-2 win. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by ten runs or more this season.

The victory got Culpeper County back to even at 9-9. As for Albemarle, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Culpeper County will challenge Eastern View at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cyclones have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Albemarle, they will head out on the road to take on Charlottesville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
