Volleyball Recap: Hanahan Takes a Loss

Hanahan was the 2-0 winner over Dreher when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks fell 2-0 to the Blue Devils on Saturday.

Caitlyn Manus paced Hanahan's offense, picking up three kills. Manus got some help from Juliette Owens and her three assists. Owens was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Hanahan's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Dreher, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Hanahan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Cathedral Academy on the 30th. As for Dreher, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against First Baptist School on the 30th.
