Baseball Recap: Ellsworth Comes Up Short

Ellsworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Osceola Chieftains. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by just one run.

Ellsworth's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Osceola, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Osceola beat Ellsworth by a score of 4-1 later that day.
