Basketball Recap: Potomac Takes a Loss

Potomac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Largo Lions, falling 74-7. The contest marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

It was another big night for Aleah Rodriguez, who went 9 of 13 en route to 20 points for Largo. Rodriguez's morning made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Aysiah Harris, who went 7 for 9 on her way to 14 points.

Potomac's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Largo, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Potomac will square off against Gwynn Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Largo has already played their next game (against Suitland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
