Jasper came tearing into Monday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Deer Antlers with a sharp 95-74 victory. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 games by 21 points or more this season.

Deer's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mason Guinnip, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaden Moore, who posted 18 points.
