West Stanly entered their tilt with Forest Hills on Monday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Yellow Jackets with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-7, 25-20.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Stanly to victory, but perhaps none more so than Scarlet Griffin, who hit 75% for nine kills and eight digs and three aces. The last time Griffin's hitting percentage was this high was back in September of 2024. Brynli Huneycutt also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: West Stanly was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in six consecutive contests.

West Stanly's record is now 18-3. As for Forest Hills, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

West Stanly didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Mount Pleasant on the 8th. As for Forest Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Monroe on the 8th.
