Basketball Recap: Eufaula Piles Up the Points Against Preston

Eufaula won against Beggs last Monday with 47 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Eufaula Ironheads blew past the Preston Pirates 47-20. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-31 back in December of 2024.

Eufaula pushed their record up to 11-12 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points over those games. As for Preston, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 15 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-22 record this season.

Coming up, Eufaula will welcome Silo at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Silo will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Eufaula surely won't give up without a fight. Preston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
