Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 48-41 to the Pennfield Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 479th, while the Panthers are ranked 212th).

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Pennfield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

While Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
