Othello is 8-2 against Ephrata since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Othello will take on Ephrata at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Othello and Quincy meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. Othello fell just short of Quincy by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for Othello in their meetings with Quincy: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Ephrata fell victim to East Valley and their airtight defense on Saturday. They lost 4-0 to the Red Devils. That's two games in a row now that Ephrata have lost by exactly four goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Ephrata and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Othello, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Othello beat Ephrata 3-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Othello since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
