Soccer Recap: Jordan-Matthews Has No Trouble Against Phoenix Academy

After failing to score in their last matchup, Jordan-Matthews made sure to put some goals up on the board against Phoenix Academy on Thursday. They blew past the Phoenix Academy Firebirds 5-1. It was an even better day for Alondra Arce as she scored three goals for her team.

The win got Jordan-Matthews back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Jordan-Matthews will head out on the road to square off against Providence Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Providence Grove knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Jordan-Matthews likes a good challenge. As for Phoenix Academy, they will welcome Bishop McGuinness at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
