Eagan and Rosemount are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Wildcats will face off against the Irish at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Eagan is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Eagan didn't have quite enough to beat Edina and fell 4-3.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rosemount, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 12-9 win over Prior Lake on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Irish considering their two-run performance the game before.

Eagan now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Rosemount, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Eagan came up short against Rosemount in their previous matchup back in April, falling 4-1. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
