North Muskegon put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Holton Red Devils a 5-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-0 on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Kylan Nielsen, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Bean, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

North Muskegon pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 7.4 runs this season. As for Holton, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Muskegon will head out to take on Hart at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Holton, they will square off against Montabella at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
